RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and participate in the smooth running of a loving early childhood classroom at a highly regarded educational child care center.
- Create and deliver lesson plans, care for each child individually, and assess developmental needs of students.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
- Communicate positively with parents, co-workers, and management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center preferred.
- Experience using Teaching Strategies Gold and Brightwheel is a plus.
- Able to furnish required clearances.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sense of humor encouraged.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15-$20 per hour depending on years of experience and education
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hr shift (between the hours of 7am-6pm)
Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Required)
- Special education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Early childhood education: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Teaching Certification (Required)
- Special Education Certification (Preferred)
- MUST have a DEEDs Early Learning Teacher Certificate (Required)
